The Family Care Freedom Plan was designed to help your family overcome the high cost of daily medical expenses. We have compiled services and features that will help your family lower your medical bills right away.
Pharmacy Discount & Mail Order Programs
Our Pharmacy program boasts well over 55,000 participating pharmacies including just about every major pharmacy chain from CVS to Walgreens. Our pharmacies are contracted to deliver discounts nationwide. Members will save from 20% to 40% off the retail prices of prescription drugs.
Radiology & Imaging
Family Care offers members access to nationwide, credentialed, high quality, and discount radiology and imaging centers. Members obtain the best quality diagnostic services in a safe, environmentally comfortable facility. Facilities include over 2,300 providers across the country and in Puerto Rico. Members receive discounts of 40% off the usual and customary fees on MRI and CT scan procedures, and 30% off the usual and customary fees for all other procedures.
Laboratory Services
The Family Care Lab Services program provides diagnostic testing and services. Providers include nearly 2,000 patient laboratories, 30-plus regional laboratories and esoteric testing laboratories on both coasts. The Lab Services program features providers of specialty testing, including gene-based testing, routine medical testing, drugs-of-abuse testing, thyroid testing, cancer screening, cholesterol screening, anatomic pathology testing, and many more. Family Care members receive discounts in the range of 30%-45% off the usual and customary fees of lab tests.
Durable Medical Equipment
Family Care members receive discounts of 30% off on a complete line of Durable Medical Equipment such as ambulatory aids, bath safety, wheelchairs, bedding, cold therapy, hearing aids, braces (including custom knee braces), scooters, and many others. These products are readily available nationwide.
Hearing Care
Family Care can guarantee discounted prices below retail dealer prices on over 70 different hearing aid models. In addition, our hearing care program offers our members and dependents a hearing evaluation, free of charge regardless of purchasing an instrument, by licensed audiologists for all household members, discounts on hearing instruments, a 30-day refund privilege, and a free one-year manufacturer's warranty including lost, stolen or damaged instruments.
Long-term Care
Our long-term care program is designed to take care of people who cannot take care of themselves. Included are people from the aging population, and those who have disabilities or chronic care needs, as well as many young people who need long-term care during an extended illness or after an accident or surgery. Members receive a 25% discount on all billed charges.
